Monday 16 October 2023 The next, most fiddly part of our stairwell painting is now half done. Now that I have adopted the Fitbit thing of making sure to move at least 250 steps every hour when I’d otherwise be sitting at my desk, painting in instalments means I’m more likely to get things done.

Friday 13 October 2023 I’m officially cold. It’s 08:45 and apparently 6°C with a feels-like of 4°C, which isn’t as cold as yesterday and there’s no frost, but it feels colder.
