Day 23. Writing chapter 27 of 40 Patches

I’m writing this just before making lunch, which would be fine were it not that I got up at 7am with a view to writing this post and a chapter.  Instead, I went out for a walk and coffee (smelling the jasmine flowers along the way; poetic) and spent an hour and a half working on one salvaged blog post (of 100 or so that need rescuing) from the carnage the “professional” inflicted on my website.  It will be better this time round though, right?!

Chapter 27, to be written on the sixth of fifteen days set aside for chapter-writing in August, will be about Iceland, the country rather than the supermarket.  I am quite looking forward to writing a nostalgia fest about my first ever visit to Iceland and my ten or more subsequent visits.  I want to include Iceland as a patch because it is the first country I ever visited that made me feel healthy, well, content, relaxed; there is something very special about Iceland.

Some hours later and chapter 27 has miraculously been stenoed. I really, really struggled to get motivated and inspired to write a chapter today. Even my procrastination activities weren’t very impressive.
